Slipstream 08:34
Behind the steering wheel Eyes closed, almost Lights shine into the fog I'm far from home Pull down the windows Let the chill come in. The blood rush to my head My feet swollen Run over the sound Of the shrieks of the masses Roll on the wheels Through time that we've stolen Run over the ground Leaving cracks in the pavement Roll like a mirage Leave no traces behind I see the scene behind In the slipstream I leave Flash of red everywhere For the street lights to see A shrill voice on the air Breathless in my head Sole sound I can hear Over man and machine Run over the sound Of the shrieks of the people Roll on the wheels Through time that we've stolen Run over the ground Leaving cracks in the pavement Roll like a mirage Leave no traces behind

Alone 06:24
I tried,  To convince you.  I'm no longer  Alone  I tried  To tell you  You can't save me  Anymore  And I feel That I can't go on We're at the end  The start of the song And I feel That I can't go on We're at the end  The start of the song And I feel That I can't go on We're at the end  The start of the song And I feel That I can't go on We're at the end  The start of the song I'm here  On my toes  On the edge My vision broke  And I stare Into your eyes  As I see  The ground below  And I feel That I can't go on We're at the end  The start of the song And I feel That I can't go on We're at the end  The start of the song So now, As I'm flying through the air,  I'm no longer  Alone.

Inverted 05:38
I woke In the cold In the morning In the freezing sunshine Bereft Of any fire in my chest And it stole Away Into A pin prick of barbed wire cutting deep Deep beneath my eyes Then I walked I walked I walked Alone Below The ground I dragged Slow My torn Heart To your house In the dark Cobblestones on my head Float Drift Inverted rooted To the ground You seemed To fall From the skies Like an angel (but I didn't agree) You fucked Me up You wanted  To save me. You seemed To fall From the skies Like an angel (but I didn't agree) You fucked Me up You tried To save me. I stared Through the glass In your room Through the mist In your eyes As you looked Blurry back at me I smelled The smell The rotting stench of peace On your breath            Bereft Of any fire in your chest Then I walked I walked I walked Alone Below The ground I dragged Slow My torn Heart Away From you To the darkened eyes On the road Up high Crumpled heap On the ground You seemed To fall From the skies Like an angel (but I didn't agree) You fucked Me up You tried To save me You seemed To fall From the skies Like an angel (but I didn't agree) You fucked Me up You tried To kill me. But you didn't know how.

I saw someone scream at me Take my years away from me. Shut sensible mind away Soul filled up my irises. Strange sense of paralysis White are now my fingertips You came up to me. Why? This strange déjà vu in my eyes. Please Slow down Control I’ll smash my head against the mirror Bleak Forlorn All gone Broken shards of glass within my ears Your words are a little too clear Urging me to come to your paradise Rain is falling constantly But my tree’s got dry leaves. You left me alone for an age With the sound of wet squirming bells and You alone left no marks on me No. Not even when you died. I can’t join you I won’t come along. Strike back at you. With the slivers Of silvered glass. Please Slow down Control I’ll smash my head against the mirror Bleak Forlorn All gone Broken shards of glass within my ears Please Slow down Control I’ll smash my head against the mirror Bleak Forlorn All gone Broken shards of glass within my ears

Inflamed 07:40
The hues of the fall Come down your tresses Your locks fall Matted down To your side To your side The ashes of the cigarette Are on the table top They are all that remain Of the fire that took your body tonight Inescapable This moment A shrine I've made for you Pushing on Pushing back This moment I'm here I'm here for you I'm here I'm here for you

So far away I followed you. Another plane of existence I followed you. Floating on the other side It hurts So much The silence in my bones Is permanent now. More than ever was Did you know that the last thing I heard Was your voice In a song so loud My soul is somewhere in between On a turbulent aeroplane Wishing it would crash again again   Let’s drink this bottle This bottle of blood Let’s drink it down To your health Let’s hold each other While the fire burns deep Let’s hold each other One last time    I flew Very long for you An eternity of moments Cross with me Into the ether Where the lightning subsides I flew Very long for you An eternity of moments Cross with me Into the ether Where the lightning subsides Moon light falls on Your pure skin grey The last rays of a dying star Send their fire to you in vain I can’t go alone Somewhere I have not been before. I’ll turn you Let nothing of you remain. I flew Very long for you An eternity of moments Cross with me Into the ether Where the lightning subsides I flew Very long for you An eternity of moments Cross with me Into the ether Where the lightning subsides

A sublime Moon shines on your Pretty face Through the clouds And I wait While they Take you away Forever Through the ether You’re nowhere now A million miles away And I Will come to you This place is dead Infinite Lost souls But we Will swim together The gates are closed I see you on The other side Of the mirror They won’t allow Me To enter These Hallowed grounds I tried I tried so hard To make you mine Forever I hoped For you to be Your own self With me too I died I died for you I really hoped I think I did You never saw it You never came to me This isn’t how It was Meant to be I tried I tried so hard To make you mine Forever I hoped For you to be Your own self With me too My vanity Put me In The seventh circle For all Eternity Here I’ll rot Never to feel That loving pain Again

about

'Into the Ether' is a supernatural journey through the darkest depths of the human psyche, set to a diverse musical landscape that ranges from progressive rock ballads to experimental and pop-rock to metal, with bits of jazz and blues thrown in.

Spanning 69 minutes and five years in the making, the album is a visceral and emotional exploration of obsession, loneliness, rejection, suicide, vanity, violence, and rage, all tied together by the common theme of death.

The album's story follows a protagonist who is consumed by their own
obsession, leading them down a spiral of darkness and despair. They experience the depths of loneliness and rejection, and contemplate suicide as a way to escape their pain. Their vanity and rage fuel their descent into madness, and they eventually find themselves trapped in a supernatural realm where death is the only way out.
